I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
